This is Phil’s original amazing recipe for cannabis sun bars. It’s definitely our favorite edible! It’s ridiculously easy to make. Just sunflower seeds, honey, cannabis and a little salt on the stove top. In no time you’ll have delightful treats that are delicious.
I like to eat half of one and spend time in our arts & crafts room making stuff. I find that this delivery of weed is especially cerebral, and brings on some really fun ideas!
Please be sure to try a small amount when you eat them for the first time, and of course, label them well!

Remove from heat and immediately stir in finely ground cannabis. Stir for 1 minute
When cannabis becomes aromatic and wisps of smoke arise, add honey and stir until the honey completely coats the seeds and cannabis. Stir very well to evenly distribute cannabis infused honey.
Remove from heat and lightly press into pan or molds with the back of a spoon.
Sprinkle evenly with salt. Press again.
Allow to cool completely.
If cooled in pan, return to low heat until bar releases, then pop onto plate.
With any cannabis edible, it's important to learn what dosage works for you, as different strains have different levels of THC. This recipe is based on marijuana with an approximate THC level of 20%
We recommend starting with 1/4 to 1/2 of a serving to see how it affects you. Increase dosage from there.
